Retro: Not so retro, EBuyer hosted on Retro Equipment

zxspectrum48k.jpgAccording to net monitoring site Netcraft, the UK based EBuyer has hosted its website on old school equipment. Currently a Dragon 32, but has used in the past year a CRAY supercomputer, C64s, MSX, PETs and rubber keyed 48k Spectrum.

Unfortunately the web server identification is bogus, mainly to confuse potential crackers but also as an inhouse joke. Shame really it would have been nice to see old kit being used to run modern day services.
