Shock 4Way 3D allows you to have 4 desktops (screens) in a cube-like formation running on the same computer. This lets you to dedicate unique desktops for work, games, entertainment, and whatever else you may have on your mind. The desktops are arranged perpendicular to each other and have a 2-way mirror effect.

The software also provides a Screen Manager, which can be used to shift programs from one desktop to another. A few customization options are also available, like changing the camera view, hiding the desktop icons on each of the 4 desktops, selecting the background, or reconfiguring the keyboard shortcuts.

So to summarise you get 4 screens to work on. Although the quality of the OpenGL animations isn’t as good as Vista’s Aero or Mac OS X, it’s fine - considering the application is approx. 600 KB and requires around 10 MB of system memory, as opposed to the hefty GigaBytes you’d be using for Aero.
