Slysoft, the makers of the AnyDVD software, reckon they have cracked the copy protection on Blu-ray disks, BD+.

The guys allege they have pretty much mastered the protection even though Sony claimed it was crack-proof for at least 10 years!

SlySoft boss, Giancarlo Bettini said:

“I wonder when people will understand that the more restrictions, pressures and protection measures that are applied to limit the functionality of a thing, the fewer sales that will result, not more.”

Bettini is aiming to have a commercial Blu-ray disk-copying software out by the end of the year.
